After attending art school in Portland, Oregon, she lived in New York City; Houston, Texas;
Janesville, Wisconsin, and the Buffalo, New York area. Ellen currently works out of her studio in the Houston, Texas area.
Ellen has exhibited widely in Wisconsin, and New York state, in juried gallery exhibitions and art festivals.
"Dancing Trees" appears in The Best of Acrylic Painting, published
by Rockport Publishers.
"Sugar River II" was purchased by a Neville Public Museum, Green Bay, Wisconsin, for their permanent
collection.
